Hi everyone!

My name is Tainafi, but everyone calls me Mondo. I'm from Samoa, and I'm very happy to be here!

If you see a guy on crutches wobbling through the halls, that's probably me. I can't wait to meet everyone!!!!!!!!! I slept lots on the plane so I'm not tired at all!

I like rugby and wrestling and cheerful music and pretty things. First stop - the kitchen. I'm hungry. I want to try American food!

SEE YUO!!!!!

Welcome to the madhouse, Mondo. How about leaving some exclamation marks for the rest of us, hmm? ;)

I'm Lorna, you can find me in the kitchen quite often.

As a general warning, things aren't quite usual this week. We don't normally have people running into substanstial visions.

I like exclamation points! They show how excited and happy I really am!!

What's wrong? Did I come at a bad time?

Nothing's wrong, just a little bit of a runaway mutation.

This is actually the perfect day to show up if the rumors I'm hearing are correct. But I know better than to spoil a surprise so no pestering me for more info.

OOH!

Welcome to the school, Mondo, we are very glad to have you here. I am Ms. Munroe, one of the headmasters of the school as well as a teacher. Please feel free to come talk with me any time about any questions you might have.

Hello Mondo! Figured I should use an exclamation point too. Its always good to see a new face and I hope you are settling in well. I'm sure I'll see you around.

Dude. DUDE. Okay, one exclamation point at a time. It's okay, they don't take them away if you don't use them right away.

Also, I'm Kyle, and where the heck is Samoa? I thought that was a kind of cookie.

It's an island in the South Pacific. And no, it wasn't just a musical.

And hello Mondo. You're a regular ray of sunshine, aren'tcha?

Ah, one more to the fold. Pleased to make your acquaintence, Mondo. Unlike half this lot you know what rugby is, so you have my instant approval. I would be Marius, alternately known as 'the boy who eats people' and 'the boy who just burned off all his skin'. No worries, they're terms of endearment, I'm sure.

Why not?

My cousin's on the pro Samoan team! They kick all kinds of butt! I like watching them a lot!

I used to like playing rugby but I'm not going to be able to for a while. But when I'm all better we'll have to play!

I am sure it will be!

Dinner was delicious!

But there was no Spam in the kitchen. Maybe I'll get some next time.

I'll have to get a new one!

What's Pride?

I am not very mobile at the moment and I'd hate to be a bother. If Doctor MacTaggert says it's OK, I'd love to go!

Quite the cheerful sort, aren't you? I'm sure you'll strike a nice contrast to the last new bloke. (Note that I'm saying not a word against the unremitting black; I simply maintain that a balance must be struck.)

As for the rugby, I will be interested to see if you can round up enough sound, competant bodies to form the necessary teams. Although I suppose if Jamie could be persuaded we'd have more than enough warm bodies to go around . . . hm, now that is a thought.

I think he breaks the records for cheerful students - he just about beats the small kids on a sugar high. *grins* Good to see you back in the land of the posting, by the way. Sorry about Aussie-land losing to Brazil in the World Cup - at least they still have a chance to stay in the game if they beat Croatia.

And how rude of me to not introduce myself to the person whose journal I'm replying in... Hello, Mondo. I'm Amanda, I'm a former student who now works with a bunch of other former Xavierites in New York. Sounds like you'll enjoy yourself there.

You explain the rules to me, and I'm totally there. I'm competant, and sound. Probably in the opposite order of that, since, you know, healing factor.
